Characters inside my head by ~KiraBree:iconKiraBree:

IN MY HEAD

A small grin spreads across my face as I slowly find myself surrounded by black space. The stars slowly begin to twinkle into existence, then a large planet filled with thick rich forests and rolling oceans, and lastly the three moons begin to shine their life giving light down on to the inhabitants below. I stand in space looking down at the world I have created, and I take in a deep breath of pride and satisfaction in the familiarity of it all. This was my world, my second home. A large dark oaken door with Celtic knot designs and odd ruins exquisitely crafted into the door frame appears next to me. The door handle wasn't a round knob, but a vertical handle that looked like it was made of varnished antique gold. It was the door to creation, the door to my mind, and where all of this had first taken form.  My fingers slowly slid into place around the handle as if it were made for my fingers, and the smooth metal was not cold but room temperature to touch. My index finger pulled forward on the opening clasp that was snug between the wood and the handle, the door slowly swung open with a light whoosh of air to reveal the cozy room up ahead.

Straight in front of me stood a solidly built desk made of deep cherry wood,  and no such fancy designs were seen on it's surface. A book shelf was built above the desk, and was crammed chaotically with any number of science fiction and fantasy novels from every corner of my imagination that I had read. The large wide cabinets on either side of the desk held role playing books until the doors almost would not close. On the desk itself stood a silver computer with black trim, and the monitor screen was currently black. No tower could be seen since it was my mind, I found the actual tower to be clumsy and unnecessary. The monitor ahead of me blinked to an "on" black colored screen with the word Welcome in bold white letters typed across it's surface.

To my left stood a cozy looking dark maroon brick fireplace which added to the rustic look along with the log cabin walls. Pine, hickory, and cedar logs were stacked to the side ready to be picked as the "wood scent" of the day, and to fill the room with their rich scent. A single cozy deep royal blue recliner stood to the right of fireplace closer to my desk, and a deep ornate looking rustic rocking chair stood to the left. The constant motion always seemed to help me think, and many a tension filled brainstorm was thought out in that rocking chair. To my right from the door first was a deep forest green arm chair, and then the matching couch which stood against the wall closer to my desk. This chair was where I would like to sit and read when I wanted quiet peaceful enjoyment. Lastly, the thick lush carpet was satin soft and a similar deep royal/sapphire blue color as the recliner. True the room wasn't color coordinated, but I could rarely pick just one color on anything. They were just lucky I hadn't made he room multi colored tie die and called it wonderful.

I chuckled to myself at imagining what the "others" would say to walking into the previously decorated log cabin room to find it nothing but tie die colors. The thought was amusing to say the least. As I take my first step into the room my body begins to change. Long soft white fur begins to grow over my leg even though it can't be seen through my blue jeans. As I start to walk through the door way the white fur begins to grow over my entire body. My ears vanish into the soft fur as fluffy white cat ears begin to grow out of the top of my head. My straight dirty blond hair starts to curl lightly, and turns to a warm honey gold as if purified from it's previous state. My hazel blue eyes that liked to change color now turn to a more striking bright blue that will actually turn to hazel or jade green with my moods. For the most part sapphire, royal, and bright blue were the colors they would stay at. My mouth grows out in a small cute rounded house cat muzzle with a pink nose and white whiskers. The last thing to change was the "hole" that naturally appeared in my jeans to let out my long fluffy kitty cat tail.

I give a long luxurious stretch with my arms above my head, and flex my small claws. A slight mischievous look enters my eyes as I decide not to bring out the snow white feathered wings that some times grew when I was in this persona. Kitten was my nickname, and Angel Kitten by those who liked to tease me about my sometimes very sensual nature. I had created other personas before, but this was the only one that took a piece from each part of my personality. Honest, cute, innocent, mischievous, sensual, naughty, and playful were all in equal parts in this persona. I look myself over in satisfaction. "The best so far if I do
say so myself, and of course, I do," I say as I chuckle feeling light hearted all
ready. Gone was the cellulite, unsightly weight gain, and dull or average features.

Now I was cute, slim, spunky, and ready for action. The only thing that didn't change about me was my natural DD bust size. When trying out smaller sizes it just
felt to... odd. I was so used to caring it around all the time, that I decided to
leave it. Who was going to see it besides my characters anyway? After my luxurious stretch, I pad over to the computer kicking off my comfortable tennis shoes. They were good for human form, but with kitty cat padded feet the soft lush carpet just felt so much better. I flop unceremoniously into the comfortably patted black swivel chair that stood at the desk. My clawed feet stretched and kneaded the carpet while I used the mouse to bring up my latest endeavors. Suddenly with a loud "WHOOSH" my door slams open so hard that it bangs against the opposing wall. The black spotted white form ran in on all fours that were still hands and feet, and skid to a stop right next to my chair. She looks up at me with the most innocent pleading look in her big bright blue eyes. Her white leopard ears were forward in anticipation while her long fluffy tail twitched in agitated excitement. She had a human nose and mouth, but her soft fur grew into a fine fuzz just on the edges of her cute round cheeks. I chuckle as I am prepared for the on slot of questions that I knew would soon spew forth.

"So? I AM GOING TO BE A PONY NOW RIGHT?? YOU ARE FINALLY GOING TO DO IT NOW RIGHT??" The words come out so fast that it almost sounds like one big word, but I put the spaces in to be kinder to the readers. I chuckle and give a soft sigh as I gently tousle the top of her silky head. Her long silver white locks held natural sapphire and royal blue streaking that blended together, and reflects different shades depending on the light. Since there was only "natural" colored lighting in the room, and I hadn't lit the fireplace the deep royal blue took dominance. Royal and sapphire blue were my favorite colors, and I had a tendency to use them a lot. It just looked to perfect framing her cute little round face, though. Kira didn't like wearing clothes if she didn't have to. She had been raised out in the wild forest, and her animal nature didn't like being restricted by clothing. She had been taught, for the most part, to wear clothing when in town or around other people unless they were considered close friends. There for, I was very pleased to see that she felt comfortable enough around me to only be wearing her soft silky fur. Her pink nipples and nether regions could be seen poking out through the fur, but it wasn't all that noticeable unless you were uncomfortable with nudity or perverted. Most animal people were comfortable enough with their own bodies not make much of a fuss over it, and her innocence just made it seem all the more natural that she didn't wear clothes. Her pupils turn into cat slits when I didn't answer her questions right away.

"WELL YOU ARE, AREN'T YOU? PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE!" I had recently joined in a My Little Pony role play (mlp rp abbreviation I will use in the future). It may sound childish, but I had always loved horses of any type. I had collected the ponies with gusto when I was little, and being a role play-aholic finding a MLP rp had been like hitting a gold mine. Kira was my most recent "innocent and cute" persona. Only Kira had a little more..um... possibility with sensuality than my first. "Kira, settle down. First, You should know better than the slam the door open. Go shut it or else we will have the entire realm and the Guardian herself in here if you don't." Kira's ears droop slightly. Not getting an immediate answer wasn't a good sign. She pads back over to the door on her hands and feet, and when she goes to close it another figure walks forward. Kira didn't bother shutting the door in her face because she was the most powerful person here aside from her author and the deities themselves. There were rumors running about that the female was even stronger than the deities, but Kira knew NEVER to let HER know about that.

Kira stood up fully on her two feet while she watched the golden haired beauty walk through the door, and then she quietly closed the door behind her. "Hello Jenny. Come to see what's going on?" I ask without turning around. Jenny was my first, my main persona, and always my strongest character. We had some thing similar to a "soul bond" with each other. She was as much a part of me as I was a part of her. She didn't have honey blond hair like I did. (Honey coloring being only a recent addition to my fascination with experimental coloring) No, she had a pure golden blond as if the sun itself had almost been woven into her hair. Jenny didn't like things being over the top, so it didn't sparkle or shine. It just was. Jenny's eyes were the deep royal sapphire blue that was my favorite color, and the eye color I had always wanted. They were her most striking feature because their endless depths were like the vastness of space or the depths of the ocean. You had to be careful not to get lost in them. She wore a simple tee shirt, blue jeans, and rugged white tennis shoes. I had on a tie die tee shirt, and bright blue colored jeans while her shirt was a creamy pastel pine green, and her pants a deeper blue.

"I felt you return Mariah." I wince. All the others called me Kitten or Prisma
off of my other persona Prisma Blaze. Only Jenny insisted to call me by my real name. She thought the use of a made up name was silly when my real name seemed to suit me just fine. We had argued over it many times, but few people ever win an argument with her if she doesn't want you to, Even me. I gave an exasperated sigh, and a frustrated look over my shoulder into her calm intelligent blue eyes. "I know. So, are you going to ask me what I'm up to?" Jenny just gives a slight smile as she walks over and gracefully seats herself on the edge of the couch. Ahh, such grace. It came natural to her, but not like an elf or some other super natural creature. Her's was a more "grounded" type fluid movement that I could just watch for hours much like a ballerina. It never ceased to amaze me to see the end product of what I had created move before my very eyes. "No, I'm not. You are always so eager to tell others about what you are doing, I don't need to ask for I know you will tell me eventually," Jenny responds matter of factly.

"You know, it bugs me some times just how well you know me," I say as I turn back
to the computer screen. Just to spite her, and her "I know you better than anyone"
attitude I refrain from telling her anything, at least for the moment. It didn't matter if it was true or not. I COULD hold out information. Jenny just smirked understanding my some what childish defiance, and just leaned back quite comfortable on the couch.... waiting patiently. Kira finally to antsy to stay quiet any longer blurts out, "SO ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT??" I still had not answered her previous question. I give a slow drawn out sigh as I gathered my thoughts for the proper response to her. "Not yet Kira. I have two others I really need to finish first." Kira gives a drawn out cat type whine. The one where you can always tell that your cat is unhappy with you. "Whhhhyyyy??? You told me you would do it at least five characters ago?? Why can't you do me noooow?" I always had trouble trying to explain certain things to Kira, especially if her patience had run out like it had now. I owed it to her, but ... well.. other things had just came up. Jenny came to my rescue realizing my predicament.

"Kira, come here." She patted the couch seat next to her. Kira's ears droop and she reluctantly pads over to Jenny, leaping up onto the couch, and put her head in
Jenny's lap. Jenny gently strokes her white and royal blue locks while she talks in a motherly voice. "Kira, this my little pony role play is not meant for sensual encounters."
"But, but, I don't HAVE to be seduced. Honest! I'll be good, I promise!" Kira
pleaded.
"I know dear. But we both know that you were meant for innocent romance, or being seduced. This is a pg-13 role play. No intercourse. Besides, Kitten has been having trouble there recently. She doesn't want you to get turned down, and then
get your feelings hurt. Ok?" I give a side long glance at Jenny when she used my
nick name. She most likely had used it because Kira could "connect" with it more, but still, it was worth remembering. Jenny pointedly ignored my look, and continued. "I'm sure she will do it once she is sure about things, but for now you need to be patient. Don't worry, dear. She won't forget about you." Kira just nodded silently. She understood, and even though she knew all this information all ready she still pouted. She wanted to be a pony SOO bad she could taste it.

"So, what are you working on now?" Kira asked me. I smile to myself. Since Jenny
didn't ask, this was the perfect opportunity to share my new ideas. "Well, I need to come up with an animal lover that loves the ocean. A water loving pony that is intelligent, and can become Boot's apprentice. I want to make them female, but in order to work with Boots on the boat it would have be male since females aren't allowed on the ship. It's still to vague yet though. I'm still in the brainstorm phase on that one. I am also trying to find a "big sister" orphan pony to help out Keiko. Some one who will be able to track down the kids when they hide or run off. So far I have a combination of Sky's defensive techniques, Aris' playfulness, and Hershey's cute quiet nature. I think I'm going to call her off of Indypop though. Still, this idea is more put together than the first one. Hm..." I nibble on the end of a pencil I grabbed off of the holder on the edge of the desk.

"Well, once you finish with them, THEN will I become a pony??"
"Don't get your hopes up, kid. It ain't all it's cracked up to be," came a smooth
slightly sarcastic feminine voice at the door. I give another sigh as the fire ruby anthro fox walks in closing the door behind her with a resounding thud. Jenny looks up at her with a hardened gaze of warning. "Ruby, watch yourself." The brilliant ruby colored fox just gives a hapless shrug as she runs one of her perfectly manicured clawed hands through her darker ruby hair with blood ruby highlights. She sashays in with her thick tail swishing behind her, and Kira sat up instantly looking at her with that innocent "don't crush my hopes" kind of look on her face. "Come ON girl! Better to tell the kid the truth than let her hopes get crushed by the gauntlet out there." Ruby Flame flops over the deep forest green arm chair. Her position almost showing her sensitive parts through the tightly fitting cut off shorts she happened to be wearing. Her snug blood red halter top covering her well enough I suppose, but it showed midriff and cleavage like normal. She had always liked to push the boundary of flirting with male or female. If a man ever got caught up in staring at her voluptuous chest then a glint off of the chiseled flame shaped fire ruby jewel that pierces her navel would most assuredly draw their gaze lower.

"I mean, I didn't even WANT to be a freaken' MY LITTLE PONY!! She actually talks me into it, and now that I am one, I've gotten almost NO action what so ever. It's worse than snail sh..""RUBY!" Jenny cut her off before she could finish the
saying. Ruby just shrugs. "All I'm sayin' is that you shouldn't let the kid get her hopes up only have to have them dashed." Jenny just shakes her head. "You know, there are those who DO get activity in, and not everyone can devote their entire life to posting in a role play forum. There is real life to deal with you know," Jenny hard tone said 'be reasonable. 'Ruby sits straight up in the chair and says raising her voice, "YEAH! I know! She created Marble what... a week ago at most?? He gets approved and BAM! He gets a post or two a day in. He's seen twice as much action than me, and I was one of the FIRST!" Ruby crumples back onto the chair grumbling non coherently. "Wow, Ruby. I didn't know that you were that upset about it," I reply with a smug grin at the computer screen. Ruby sits up quickly shrugging as if it didn't make a bit of difference. "Who me? Nooo. Why would I care about what happens in a stupid pony role play anyway." I just chuckle. "Well from the sound of things, you got pretty heated." I start to laugh at the pun. With Ruby, heated was what she was ALL the time. Ruby just rolled her deep red eyes and humfed.

I continue more matter of factly. "Jenny is right though. Just because you want more action doesn't mean the other authors can give it to you. I know you aren't patient, but you really don't have a choice. And there is nothing I can do about
it, or else I would. So... just cool your jets for now and don't worry. I'm keeping an eye on things." I let my tone of voice let her know that this was the last on this discussion. No need to focus on what we couldn't control anyway, right?

"Mmmm, ponies. Sound delicious. When do I get to ea.. I mean Be one?" purred an
all to familiar voice. The scent of warm vanilla and pine wafted through the room
as a figure darker than the space outside slowly stepped in. Her fur was darker
than a night without moon or stars, and her long onyx mane like hair only added to the wild aura that surrounds her. Her raven black feathered wings were folded neatly to her back, and her tail sways with controlled anticipation. Her deep emerald eyes shimmer with a smooth dark almost sinister type of sensuality that was so characteristic of her. She slowly licks her pink tongue over very white pointed teeth while a smug grin spreads over her face. "I would so looove to meet these ponies of yours, Kitten." The way she said my nick name made one feel like she was slowly sucking on a piece of smooth silken candy, and the low resonating purr that followed sent goose bumps racing over my skin. You see when Shadow talks it's like the smoothest silk running over the back of your spine. As if the darkest most forbidden things done in the dark were held in her voice, and would caress over your skin when she speaks.

She slowly stalks into the room because Shadow couldn't ever just walk. She was
to cautious by nature, and every step had a purpose. She slowly places one padded
foot in front of the other as she makes her way to the back of the chair where I'm sitting. I squirm nervously in spite of my self. Ever know the saying, "Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it?". Well, that was Shadow in a nutshell. All my darkest most twisted fantasies rolled up in satin black fur,
given silent forest green clothing, a well oiled black bull whip, and a purr thick
enough to bring you to orgasm if she wished it. Shadow wasn't just sexual, she was also dangerous. A true predatory aura of danger follows her, and this exact aura is what leads many men to their doom in her clutches. It's not as if I can give them any more of a warning. I practically put a big sign around her that says 'DANGER.'  We all know that there are always those people drawn to those like Shadow. What else can I do, right?

"Weeelll?" she suddenly purrs in my ear jarring me from my thoughts. I jump at least one inch off my seat startled, and the silken purr that follows at my reaction runs down the back of my neck and over my spine. I didn't have to look at her to know that if you look into Shadow's emerald gaze, you just know that you could just as easily become dinner as well as a bed time play toy. To Shadow all were prey to be hunted, even me. Especially me! I used to be quite repressed and addicted to sensuality in spite of never having intercourse. Now with a husband I'm happily married to I'm not as repressed as I used to be, but with him the sensual role play had taken on new heights. Needless to say this only gave Shadow more ammo in stead of less. So much for being less repressed.

"Shadow Ravenhurst! Back off." Jenny's stern voice resonates through the room with a faint crackle of power as well as demand. A quiet pause is felt as if time itself stood still. That one brief moment when you wait to see if the wild animal staring you down would listen to the trainer or tear you to ribbons. Then in an instant, it feels as if time starts back up again, and I just know that I can take in that deep breath of relief that I had been holding. The animal has decided to listen to the trainer, this time. Shadow's smooth silken chuckle ripples over me in places that you can't even reach from the outside, and she slowly stands back up to her full six foot tall height. I can feel those emerald orbs boring into the back of my head, and it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Jenny was the only person Shadow even remotely listens to. Why Shadow would listen to Jenny more than me, I don't suppose I will ever fully know. Maybe it has something to do with the past written in between the two. Jenny being the only person who could understand and reach Shadow on a deeply emotional level, and I just happened to be the one to write it in. Apparently being her author wasn't enough to keep me safe.

"Have to have Jenny here to protect you Kitten? Don't worry. One day I will have
you all to myself, and at my mercy." The way she says my name just brings to mind images of a helpless kitten stuck in a ball of yarn. A big black sensual ball of
yarn that resembles very closely to bondage. Being at Shadow's mercy also brings to mind many sensual and not all enjoyable images as to what would actually happen to me if she succeeded. Shadow's voice could do that. It would instantly seem to bring to mind images to fit the mood, but I was the only one who knew that the images she recalls are different for every person. Each persons mind would recall what would be most natural for them. Shadow looks at Jenny dead in the eyes and they have a very brief stand off, where Shadow breaks it off in that nonchalant way cats have that says "I don't have to prove anything to you." Her eyes come to a stop on the naked form of Kira whom is now sitting up very straight and very still. Kira was written to be seduced by those like Shadow, and she didn't want such a thing to happen to her right now. She had gone stock still much like a rabbit under scrutiny from a fox. Shadow knew she could easily take the white leopard girl any time she wanted in spite of the fact that Jenny and the author were both here to stop her. She just didn't find Kira as that much of a challenge, and therefor didn't have as much interest as she would have normally. She still gave Kira a heated mischievously sensual gaze in order to watch the girl squirm, and then stalked over to the deep royal blue recliner on the other side of me next to the fire place. I squirm a bit while trying to free myself from the last lingering  sensations that Shadow had rippled over me in order to continue my character brainstorm.

"If it's ponies you're after, maybe I can help!" came an upbeat voice. I pause not sure who this person would be, and I thought I knew all those that could actually see the creation door. I turn half way around in my chair to watch the midnight blue my little pony walk into the room. A wide smile spread across her face, and her ice crystal sapphire twinkle eyes glimmer with excitement. I watch in amassment as the light glints off the twinkling stars that make up the star shape at the base of her horn, two inches above her hooves down over her hooves themselves, over her emblem and sides, and the two inches of sprinkled stars that cover the bottom of her folded fluffy feathered wings. Her main and tail are a pale blue starlight and silver with a pastel pink stripe in her mane. Her horn is a ribbon of star light, and a ribbon of midnight blue intertwined together. Her emblem is a royal blue, royal purple, and soft pink star nebula.

Dreamscape seemed completely oblivious of her striking appearance, and all the time it took for me to create her just right. It was the first time I'd gotten to meet her, and it certainly was a treat. She was a pony-sana of sorts, but not completely. She was more like some of the better aspects of my personality than any thing else. Dreamscape just tosses her mane and swishes her tail in excitement as she prances in coming right up next to me. Her height was average for my little
pony standards, and her eyes just make it over the edge of the desk as she looks
up at the screen. "Maybe you can make Boot's apprentice a female who is tough on
the outside in order to be determined enough to get hired on an all male crew, but
is actually soft on the inside." She tilts her head curiously as her jeweled eyes
look up at me as if asking for confirmation that her idea might help.

I give her a gentle smile as I slowly run my hand over her silky soft mane causing
the starlight silver shimmer to ripple over the disturbed locks. Yes, a treat it was indeed. "Well, I suppose that would work. She would have to have some grit under her belt if she was going to be female," I said thoughtfully looking back at the screen. "And, she might be a possible girl friend for him," Dream giggles. I smile at the screen. Dreamscape was innocent but not ignorant of the ways of the world. She just always likes to see the better side of people, and will always give them the benefit of the doubt. In a pg-13 rp, my sensuality was restricted to cute high school type romance, and that was one of Dreamscape's favorite things. Romance.

"WOOOW! A MY LITTLE PONY HERE!" exclaims Kira. She had never actually seen one
face to face as she scampers over to the new visitor with inquisitive eyes. "Oh,
can I pet her, Pleeeaassee??" she begs me. "Ask her yourself," is my only response. Kira looks at Dreamscape as if pleading without saying anything. Dream just giggles cutely. "Of course! I don't mind. And who might you be?"

"I'm Kira. Who are you?"

"I'm Dreamscape. A pleasure to meet you!"

Dreamscape didn't seem to be phased or even notice Kira's lack of clothing. Probably because she being a my little pony on all fours and not an anthro didn't wear clothes herself. Jenny smiles as the two girls quickly became fast friends, and Ruby gives an aggravated huff rolling her eyes. A very quiet smooth purr comes from Shadow as she eyes the new comer as if she had been served up on a silver platter. Jenny didn't have to do anything because I looked at her over my shoulder with a hard "author" look that told her to behave. I could make her listen if I REALLY had to, but I couldn't do it often for fear of it loose it's effectiveness. I suppose she figured it to much of a hassle to argue with me at the moment because she leaned back in her chair once more nonchalant and uncaring as only a cat can do. Her eyes still followed the pony's motions like a cat watching a fish through a fish bowl. "Well, it seems things are about to get interesting," she purrs to no one in particular.

The two girls got to know each other with a lot in common. It eventually ended with Kira sitting on the ground with one leg on either side of the standing pony nuzzling into her soft neck and mane purring happily while petting her. Dreamscape looks exceptionally pleased and happy to have made a new friend. A faint voice is heard in the distance slowly growing louder. It seems to be one whole drawn out word constantly yelled without any intake of breath. Jenny sighs knowing her adopted daughter's voice anywhere. Mmmmmooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!" The door seemingly on it's own opens as a blazing streak of gold and silver scales runs in at what would seem like mach two. Without missing a beat she runs full tilt into the room, leaping onto the couch into Jenny's lap, and begins licking over her face with a very rapid pink tongue. Jenny just laughs chuckling as she squirms to try and keep her face from being attacked by the baby dragoness. "Lurlei, Lurlei, I'm fine! Settle down, Please! Kitten is here! You don't want to disturb her, now do you?"

The baby dragoness instantly seems to settle down at finally realizing my presence. I spin around on my chair to completely face the room. I pat my legs as
say cheerfully, "Come on Lurlei! Come say hi!" With a wide smile filled with sharp
white teeth she leaps from Jenny's lap onto mine. She gives my face a couple of
happy licks, nuzzles my neck, and then playfully bumps her head into abdomen as if
to beg for more petting when I all ready had both hands going over her. She was my
first sweet and innocent persona. If they thought Kira was innocent, they hadn't
seen anything unless they had met Lurlei. She was an energetic ball of scales with
wide brilliant pink zircon eyes, and a rapidly wagging tail. Her pale rose tinted gold and ice blue tinted silver scales covered her entire body in a random pattern
that shifted on occasion. Her twin small horns grew back over her head and were a
more noticeable pale rose and ice blue coloring intertwined. There was still a
faint gold and silver sprinkled among the two colors, but the color was more
prevalent than the metallic. Her claws were the same as her horns, and those big
eyes looked up at me with glee. I hadn't role played with her in a while since I
had played her growing up, but she was always a four foot long baby dragon to me.

"Nice to see you too Lurlei. Did you have fun?" I say with a tender smile.
"Oh, yes yes yes! I played tag! But I reached home base before they could catch me!" she said while wagging her tail so hard it made her whole back end shake. I laugh, and Jenny just smiles looking at the door as a very out of breath anthro feline approached. She had long silken white, light tan, and rich auburn patched fur. The patches even colored her long hair, and her tender hazel eyes showed uncertainty as she stood at the door frame panting. She wore a simple commoner D&D style shirt and pants. "It's ok Keiko. I know she can be a handful. Thank you for watching her," Jenny says standing to rub Keiko's back. Keiko had been abused in her history, and there for was very nervous around people she didn't know well. She knew Ruby only vaguely, and Shadow not at all. Her cautious eyes scanned the room briefly before looking back at Jenny. "Um... thank you. I.. I tried, but I just couldn't keep up with her." Her smooth voice had a quiet motherly sound to it, and I smile at her. "It's ok Keiko. I've got it from here!"

She looks at me like I'm a friend who she hasn't seen in a while. I didn't play her very much, but she didn't mind. She didn't like the lime light a lot, but she would soon get some more play in as I had also made her into a MLP. She had yet to actually come into the game, but her character had been approved. A big sister type pony to help her out with the orphanage was one my recent brainstorming ideas. She also ran the orphanage in Crystal Springs in my world. She gave me and then Jenny that "thank you" smile of gratitude before she turns and walks
off into the night. Jenny looks at Lurlei with that "mommy" stare of hers.
"Luuurlei! You know better than to run off on the person watching you. You will have to apologize to poor Keiko later." Lurlei's ears droop and she lowers her head with a sad little peep. "Ok, mommy," she says quietly, and properly chastised. Jenny walks over to her scooping her up out of my lap, and petting over
her head and horns. Lurlei gives Jenny a tiny lick to her cheek as if to try to make up for it. "But you were here. And I wanted to be here too," she whimpers.

Jenny sighs as she sits back down on the couch with Lurlei in her lap. "I know
dear. I know." Dreamscape had watched this with curious eyes never having seen a dragon before. Kira smiled standing up to her feet for once. She had made friends with Lurlei earlier, and decided to make the introductions. "Lurlei, this is Dreamscape. Dream, this is Lurlei." "Hello!" Dream says happily. Lurlei looks at her with ears perked, and bright pink eyes gleaming. "Ooo New person!" She leaps out of Jenny's lap to land in front of the pony, and begins to sniff over her. "You smell like stars." Dreamscape just laughs. "Why thank you Lurlei. It's a
pleasure to meet you too." She raises a hoof to pet Lurlei's head, and Lurlei gives a deep happy rumbling purr. Ruby suppresses a dramatic yawn, and Shadow returns her eyes to my computer screen as if to amuse herself with what ever ideas I had been trying to write up before Lurlei's dramatic entrance.

Then there was a gentle knock on the door. Not all my characters could get to the "Creation room" as I liked to call it, and some of those who could never did. Only one would be uncertain and polite enough to actually knock. "Come in Richard," I said. The door opens to reveal a six foot man with neatly trimmed sandy brown hair, and depthless eyes much like Jenny's only in equal amounts of emerald green and sapphire blue. Currently they seemed to be more green with the blue a close second. He wore simple but rich clothing in deep pine green and gold coloring. He was the ruler of my realm down below, but he didn't much like his position. He also didn't care for the layers upon layers of clothing that the nobles would typically wear, and he normally went for an elegant but more comfortable style. There was always something "unworldly" about him that I could never quite put my finger on. It stemmed from his original form being that of a very rare winged unicorn breed, and this human form of his could barely contain him some times. He gives an elegant bow to me, and a separate nod to Jenny. They had an unhappy past with each other, but were forced to work together. Long story!

His deeply masculine voice wasn't to deep but richly flowing like the magic and the colors of his world. "Greetings, m'Lady Guardian. I came only briefly to discuss the increasing amount of specters that I've seen in space." He called me Lady Guardian because the true Guardian was the goddess that watched and 'created' the world in the story line, and I had made her so Lady Guardian was the title that he had given me. He always talked so proper as he had been raised in the royal court since birth. The fact that we hadn't talked on a face to face level that much most likely was the reason why I hadn't been able to get him to relax in my presence yet. Probably my fault, but he had his place. He was always busy making sure his realm stayed in one piece that we hadn't actually interacted much beyond the creation process. "Specters?" I said for once not knowing what in the world he was talking about. I hadn't written in an influx of ghosts. I am Very careful when it comes to creating undead. He stepped back opening the door wide so I and all inside could see out into the vastness of space. There seemed to be moving colors trying to take shape, and other transparent forms of more my little ponies that seemed to be romping and playing about. One in particular colorful pony seems to be standing there patiently waiting for something.

She had a rainbow that stripped her body many times, a prism in the shape of a star for an emblem, and rainbow striped main and tail. She had so many colors it
was almost difficult to wrap your mind around it, but she was more solid than any of the others. She looks as if only the outer edges hadn't come into focus yet, and it was trying to solidify itself. She was my TRUE ponysana called Prisma Blaze
that I had been attempting to make. I couldn't figure out why I just wasn't happy
with her. I gave her to many powers for one, and trying to create her past and personality had become increasingly tricky to figure out. She had been turned down for approval by the GM's, but I was determined to flesh her out JUST right. She seemed to be patiently waiting for me to finish her instead of deciding to play with the other "specters." I look at her thoughtfully, and her partial gem eyes look at me as if to say, "finished yet?." I then look over all the "ideas" and partial creations of ponies that I had yet to attempt to bring into the game.

With a soft sigh I look up at Lord Richard. "I am sorry. I just have to many ideas these days. I'm having trouble finding a place to put them all. Are they bothering you? Are the people of planet Phanta acting unnerved by this?" He shook his head no. "No, m'Lady. They can not see what I can. I simply was concerned if this was going to become a future problem or not." I smile leaning back in my chair comfortably. "No, no problem. I don't intend to start a ghost section. I probably will write up their characters manually on paper, and then file them away for future reference." The idea to do this had been given to me by a new friend of mine, and I figured it was just what I needed.

"That is indeed a relief to me. Thank you m'Lady."

"Don't call me that. Call me Kitten, Richard. I'm not part of your royal court. I'm just your author."

"And that means that you should have an honorable title to go with such."

I sigh. I knew I would get no where arguing with him. Unlike Jenny he wouldn't argue his point. He would just do what he thought to be right, and that would be that. You would not be able to deter him from his decision. I shake my head in exasperation as a slender form rushes in past his legs to hide behind the large arm chair Ruby had been lounging in. I look a bit startled since I did not have a clear view of who it was when they had breezed in without a sound. Shadow's ears are alert finally seeming to have found an interest in something, and Ruby jumps slightly. She had been ogling Richard, and whom he had been pointedly ignoring. Kira's head was up ears alert in a cute "what was that?" expression across her face. Dreamscape looks positively excited, but doesn't see any need to try and startle who ever it was out from behind the chair. Lurlei starts to 'stalk' over to the edge of the chair with her rear end in the air sniffing as if to hunt whom ever it was.

"I am truly sorry m'Lady. I will put them out immediately."

"It's ok Richard. I'll handle it," I said in a haphazard way. "Lurlei you don't
want to scare the person. Let me." Lurlei looks up at me with wide eyes, but didn't look like she really wanted to move out of the way in order to let me bring the person out. I rub her head as I gently push her out of the way. "Come on. Come on out. No one here will hurt you, I promise." I kneel down at the entrance to the gap between the chair and the wall wondering for the life of me who in the heck this was. Who did I make that would be this skittish?? Anyone that would actually be able to see the door? I slowly see a pair of distinctly feline golden honey eyes look at me from the darkness. "Come on. I won't hurt you. I made you. It's ok. Come on," I say as I try to coax her. I knew that it was a her some how, but I still was unsure as to who. With my gentle prodding slowly a form crawls out from the darkness.

Her golden yellow fur with black spots reveal her to be my anthro cheetah sex slave. She wasn't someone who I thought could see the door, but with Richard standing in the door way I suppose that made it obvious to see. I slowly stroke her slightly tangled savanna golden hair, and as she slowly comes forward more into the light I see that she still had on her barely covering slave clothing. The tattered and dirty sleeveless shirt and cloth wrap around attempt at a skirt may be a testament to her hard life as a slave, but I refuse have her in such conditions in my presence. This wasn't her story. This was the creation room. The nervous cheetah girl who looks between 17 and 18 looks up into my eyes as if searching to see if what I said was true about her safety. Then she suddenly jerks forward with her head burring into my abdomen. I gently stroke over her back, and I'm actually very pleased to see that she decided to trust me enough to lower her guard in this gesture of longing affection. She shudders in my arms as her own arms wrap around my waist as if I was her last life line to the world.

I make soothing noises as I gently stroke her hair, and her clothing begins to turn into soft gold and forest green silk and satin in the style of a high royal slave. She pulls back looking confused even as her hair smoothes out, her fur gains a sheen from becoming crisply clean, and as all this happens her tense unhappy face relaxes into a genuinely happy smile. "I am your creator Juniper. What made you so scared?" She blinks up at me being pulled away from the changes occurring on her body. She looks back at the door with apprehension. "Th..the ghosts! I saw them! I saw this door and thought it would be a safe place to hide." She turns her honey gaze back to me, and she nuzzles back into my abdomen with a gentle purr.

I gently grip her wrists, and firmly pull her off of me. To Juniper love and appreciation are expressed through sexual acts. If you didn't watch her she
would either end up seducing you, or at least arousing you incredibly. She was a sex slave, and had been taught to think like this her entire life. I pull her off
of me as I stand back to my feet. Her wide eyes look up at me uncertain as to what she had done to make me pull away from her. "Juniper, the ghosts aren't undead beings. They are my story ideas. Don't worry, they won't hurt you." She slowly stands to her feet with her hands idly running over her new soft clothing. Her eyes roam over the other's in the room, and Richard had stepped just inside so he could close the door. He wasn't sure if he should leave so he had decided to stay at least long enough to apologize for his negligence. Shadow's eyes show an intense interest because if anyone could determine Juniper's exact occupation it would be Shadow. Ruby is looking over the very busty, curvy hipped cheetah girl as if sizing her up for competition. She must have decided that the slave wasn't anything to worry about because the lost yearning to be loved expression on her face was obvious. Lurlei is sitting at Juniper's feet with her tail wagging back and forth with gusto. "Hello! I'm Lurlei! Who are you?!" Juniper looks down at the little dragoness with confusion written all over her. "Um... I'm.. Juniper," she says slowly, not sure what to think about the exuberant little one. "HI Juniper! Do you want to play?" Juniper instantly had a wide grin spread over her face. "Of course!" In spite of her longing for love and a rather high sex drive, she was always safe to leave around children. She would never try to do anything inappropriate, and would protect them with her life. That is unless the child would be of age 15 or older.

"YAAAAY! PLAY!" Play was Lurlei's favorite word in her whole vocabulary.

"Lurlei, you still need to apologize to Keiko," Jenny says bringing her adopted
daughter back down to earth for the moment. Lurlei droops slightly with her eyes rolling over to look up at Jenny. "I will mommy." Shadow smoothly rises to her
feet, and slowly wraps her arms around Juniper's waist from behind. "No Lurlei.
Juniper is going to play with me," she purrs over Juniper's shoulder making her
shudder. Juniper has a terrible weakness for very dark and dominate personalities.
She was a sex slave and "nice" people were hard to find in slave markets. "No, I don't think so Shadow," I say quickly interjecting. Shadow gives a slow pointed look at me as if asking with her eyes if I would like her attentions directed to me instead of the girl. I stop, hesitating for just a moment, and then I look at Jenny for assistance.

"Shadow, I think we have all bothered Mariah long enough. It's time that we leave.
And you aren't going any where with Juniper so don't even consider it." Jenny gently takes Juniper's hand, and pulls her out of Shadow's arms. Juniper's eyes have gone glazed and half lidded so she didn't say much. She just followed as if she were in a trance. Ruby notices Juniper's natural submission, and stands up to take Juniper's hand with a wide grin as only a fox can have it. "Don't worry. I'll take care of her." Jenny looks to Ruby with a stern look, and Richard clears his throat which quickly gets many sets of eyes on him. He doesn't blush often so when the faintest hint of pink colors his tanned cheeks I knew that it was extreme for him. He says in such a calm voice that you wouldn't know how uncomfortable he was by the sound of it, "M'Lady I do apologize if I have caused you any undue stress, but I believe I should now take my leave." I nod to him. "It's ok Richard. Don't worry about it and take care."

"I think the rest of us should go now too," Jenny said. "Lurlei, would you show Juniper and Kira over to Keiko's place." Lurlei nods vigorously, all to happy to take more people to visit Keiko's orphanage. "COME ON! THIS WAY!" she exclaims as she quickly runs out the door that Richard had just opened in his attempt to escape the mad house. Jenny makes sure Ruby lets Juniper go as Kira happily takes the cheetah's hand saying, "Come on! We don't want to loose her!" Kira leads her out in quick pursuit of the energetic baby dragon. "Wow! This has been tons of fun! I'll have to bring the others by here next time," Dreamscape says happily. Ruby rolls her eyes groaning something about my little ponies taking over or something. Richard gives a deep bow, and with a turn on his heel he is gone into the vast amount of space. Ruby looks annoyed at Jenny saying, "Well, I'm frustrated now. I need to go blow off some steam." She looks at me with a brief nod. "Later." With that Ruby walks out the door to disappear as well.

Shadow had been getting closer to me with a look as if I was a cannery right there for her to gobble up any second after I had interrupted her 'catch'. I squirm under her intense scrutiny, and Jenny raises her voice pointedly at Shadow. "It's time we leave. Right Shadow." Her voice didn't leave any room for argument. Shadow purrs deeply slowly stepping backwards keeping her eyes pinned on me. "Right, but I'm sure I'll be back again. I never forget." With the dark promise of things to come held in her words, I can feel the blood start to rush to my face. Finally at the last possible moment she turns from me, and quickly pads out the door with her tail twitching in sensual irritation. Dreamscape looks up at me with a wide smile. "It was nice to meet you Kitten! I'll be back again! I mean... I'm not really doing a whole lot these days." It was a brief reference to the slow posting in the thread she was in. I nodded and reply, "Indeed. Maybe next time you can bring Dream Catcher or Nutelo with you." She gives a happy eager nod as she prances in place. "I will, I promise. Bye!" With that she quickly runs out with her star light tail streaming behind her. Jenny looks at me with a personal look that is understood by just the two of us. "Good bye Mariah. Good luck with your character creation. How soon do you think you will actually get to putting Kira into pony form?"

I shrug. "Honestly, after these next two I will be right on it, but I have so many
ideas, I'm just not sure if I want her as a pony. She works so well as she is now, that I'm afraid she'll change to much if I try to make her into a pony. I promise to get on it as soon as I can though." Jenny nods understandingly. "Ok, well take care. And Mariah.."

"Yes?"

"Don't let all that drama get you down. You just keep putting your ideas down, and
don't worry about it. You'll find those that are good to interact with in the end anyway."

"Thanks Jenny. I know. It does get hard at times, but I do the best I can. And
Jenny, could you keep an eye on Juniper for me?"

She chuckles nodding as one of her hands reach for the door handle. "Of course."

"Thanks," and with that Jenny walks out the door vanishing into a column of
multicolored light as she closes the door behind her. I return to my computer to
type up one of the ideas that had been begging to be written down. This story!

PLEASE READ!! Ok, just had to say that!

Ok, I tried to smooth this out a bit, but it still may need some work. Any advice to make this better would be appriciated, but please go easy on me. I am new at this. I hope you enjoy this little story. I did this after reading ~Marbletoast story. Go check her's out!

Well, this story had been begging to be written for the longest time until I finally just sat down and wrote it all out. I hope you like it. These Character's are copy writed by me. NO STEALING! Thank you.

I have some sensual insinuations, but nothing actually happens. I didn't put a warrning on this. If I need to let me know, and I'll try my best to do so. I'm a little inept with this, so don't be surprised if it takes me a while to figure out just HOW to change it. Thank you.

Yay, you wrote one! :P

Definately covered the characters well. You have quite the interesting line up! And very interesting ideas in the works...;) I should definately let you know that Boots has been claimed romantically since the beginning, despite the fact that it isn't so in-game yet, but I'd be very interested to see what sort of character you thought for an apprentice. :3 (If you want to hash it out with me, just drop a PM).

And me thinks Prisma's been stamped, so she can stop being ghostly now. ;)

And I like the ending, with the story you're working on becoming the story we read. :D

I'm glad you liked it. So Prisma's stamped? Yay! Miracles never cease. I'm a little bummed about Boots, but I guess that's to be expected. He's so cute with the glasses and all.... <sigh>

Yeah, the ending was a small lightning bolt that hit me right at the end. I had no idea how to wrap up the story, so ... it kind of wrapped itself up. This is the only story I've ever written that seemed to have as much a mind of it's own as my characters. :-? Who would of thought. Any suggestions for furture writing?

Yea, several of my characters are pre-claimed, so if you're ever wondering if someone's open, just ask. :D It's hard to tell in-game, since many of those relationships are very slow building. ;)

As for suggestions for writing, well, I won't do any kind of formal critique of this, since I didn't get the feeling it was meant to be a formal piece, but maybe work on the diction you use when you describe characters. A lot of words and ideas are repeated, and while they have similarites, a broader vocabulary might make break up the repetition a bit. :) And at times you do the exact same thing I do--begin dwelling on descriptions. I love to describe stuff, but it sometimes will bog a reader down.

But, I mean, you know--just keep writing!! :D You have a knack for it, and developing it just requires working it and shaping it and using it. The more the merrier, right? If you ever do want a more in depth critique of anything, I'd be willing to do what I can, though I am by no means and expert.

Did I use to much description? I also do have a braud vocabluary, but some times the words aren't in the spell check dictionary. I am such a terrible speller. Which words do I use a lot? I'll work on those.

I normally reread and edit a story numerous times before it's finished. I only did it once with this one because I was impatient... and all the people I sent it to couldn't give me any helpful ideas on how to make it better. I'll have to write a short story, and have you critique that. This was kind of more like a little blurb.

How much description you use really becomes a personal taste and style, but it might benefit from being broken up a bit more. Each character is intimately described when they appear on the scene in a paragraph, and it becomes a large chuck of visual information for the reader to organize mentally. It's a technique that works sometimes, but not all the time, that sort of thing. Just something to think about.

I'm certain you have a broad vocabulary--I didn't mean to suggest that. ;) And it wasn't a crippling problem in this story, just an observation. Words like "sensual" and related words are very common in this piece. Your girls almost all fit these words very well, but again just something to think about--maybe playing more with showing sensuality in movement and personality than actually giving the word (you do that in several places in this story, like with Shadow, so I know it's a technique you can do. ^_^).

And mine like this was just a blurb, too. :P More just for catharthis writing than real formal writing. Those kinds of things are good to write, too. :D

I am a terrible speller myself. I use spell check and the dictionary all the time. :o

Ok, thanks for the advice! Yeah, I have a real problem with info over load. I want them to KNOW IT ALL NOW... when letting them get to know it slower can be better. I love mysteries, but I am soo impatient. Must work on my control! This story wanted to be written so bad, that not much control in my descriptions. Laurlelle K. Hamilton describes a lot too. She is my favorite author. But yes... will definatly work on this.

Using actions instead of actual words. Yes, have to work on that one too. Shadow is just the most obvious... Well, I need a story idea. Not sure what to write.. any ideas? Want a story about any specific character?

Sure, any story! I am terrible at coming up with actual plots. :( That's why most of my writing is little glimpses of events and not real stories. Write whatever you feel, I suppose. :3 Maybe just one small event that doesn't have a real beginning or end, just encapulates something.

You could always read some short stories to get an idea, since reading is one of the best excercises for writing. Sandra Cisneros writes excellent very short stories. Poe is one of my favorites. O'Henry writes usually cute little short stories with twists at the end. D.H. Laurence writes some very unsettling, physical short stories. Hawthorn wrote short stories...I don't like them much, but he's a classic. XD Browse around DA for short stories. Might help get the juices flowing to check out other short stories. ^_^

Just start writing anything, and you can edit it and craft it in later drafts. :)
